A: To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut and be or sign up as a member of WCLC’s MVP Service. Lottery Retailers are ineligible. Please see Rules for complete details.

A: When you purchase an eligible Scratch ticket, you can enter the PICK YOUR PRESENT Contest. Every eligible ticket will contain a gold PICK YOUR PRESENT contest portion with an 11-digit alphanumeric code and scannable data matrix code located under the latex. The contest officially closes on January 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm PT, 3:30 pm MT and 4:30 pm CT.

Once you have an eligible Scratch ticket:

1. Scratch the PICK YOUR PRESENT contest code portion to reveal your unique contest code.
2. If you are already a member of MVP Service, log in using your email address and password. If you cannot remember your password, go to the Forgot Log In page. If you are not yet a member of MVP Service, Register to get started.
3. Enter/scan your contest codes to earn entries. You will receive one entry for every $1 ticket value entered (e.g. $10 ticket equals 10 contest entries).
4. Every $5 in ticket value entered also earns you one Spin & Win play. For example, if you enter one $1 ticket and one $4 ticket in the contest, you will receive 5 contest entries and one spin.
5. Assign your entries to the Prize Draws you want to enter. You can reassign entries until the close of the contest on January 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm PT, 3:30 pm MT and 4:30 pm CT. If there are any unassigned entries at the close of the contest, the system will automatically put those entries into the Ultimate Getaway (Prize #1) draw.
6. You can also trade 3 entries to play Spin & Win up to a maximum of 5 times a day.
7. Keep every PICK YOUR PRESENT ticket portion entered until March 14, 2025. You may be required to provide the ticket portion that corresponds to the entry drawn by WCLC.
8. You can enter up to 50 unique PICK YOUR PRESENT contest codes per person, per day.

A: No. More than one registration per person will make all entries submitted invalid. If you have any trouble registering or logging in, please contact us.

A: Yes, you can log in using that email address and password. When you first log in, you will be shown your existing profile. If the information is correct, simply accept the contest Rules & Regulations to enter the contest; if the information is out of date, click ‘Edit Profile’ to update your information. Please note, it is important that your MVP Account has the latest contact information if you are chosen as a potential winner.

A: There are two possible reasons:

1. You or someone else in your household has registered for the contest using that email address. An email address cannot be used with more than one player profile.
2. Another possibility is you have previously signed up to MVP Service.

A: You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Please verify your email address and password and try again. Make sure there are no spaces and that Caps Lock is turned off. If you continue to have an issue, go to the Forgot Log In page.

A: If you've already registered for this contest (or signed up to MVP Service) and have forgotten your password, go to the Forgot Log In page.

A: If you have forgotten the answer to your security question or are having log in issues, please contact us for assistance. Remember, you have to enter your security answer exactly the way you originally registered it, including all spaces, numbers, symbols, etc.

A: Log in with your old email address, and then select the EDIT link from the account page to update your account information.

A: First, purchase one of the 10 specially marked Scratch tickets. Register on this website and enter the code found under the latex of the gold contest portion of the ticket. Then go to the Prizes page to assign entries to your desired Prize Draws. Please see the Rules for further information.

A: You will see a gold PICK YOUR PRESENT contest code portion at the bottom of the ticket. View the eligible tickets.

A: There are three ways contest entries may be awarded:

1. Entries are awarded at the rate of one for every $1 worth of tickets entered (e.g. $10 ticket equals 10 contest entries).
2. Entries are also awarded through the Spin & Win game. For every $5 in ticket value entered, you will earn one spin of the wheel for a chance to win up to 5 additional entries or 1 of 200 $50 prepaid credit cards.
3. You can also trade 3 entries to spin the wheel for another chance to win up to 5 additional entries or 1 of 200 $50 prepaid credit cards. However, if the prize revealed after you spin the wheel is 1 contest entry, you will have lost 2 total contest entries through the trade. You can trade entries up to a maximum of 5 times a day.

Once you have accumulated entries, you may assign them to any of the 6 Prize Draws by going to the Prizes page. Each entry assigned to a Prize Draw represents a chance to win that prize. Any number of available entries can be assigned to a Prize Draw, and you have the opportunity to reassign your entries until the close of the contest. If there are any unassigned entries at the close of the contest, the system will automatically put those entries into the Ultimate Getaway (Prize #1) draw.

A: When you have entries available, visit the Prizes page to add or remove from your selected prize(s). The entries field can be found below each prize package. You must first enter the quantity of entries to allocate at left before the “Remove” or “Add” buttons will function and complete your request.

Any number of available entries can be assigned to a Prize Draw, and you have the opportunity to reassign your entries until the close of the contest. If there are any unassigned entries at the close of the contest, the system will automatically put those entries into the $5,000 Ultimate Getaway (Prize #1) draw.

A: The contest ends on January 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm PT, 3:30 pm MT and 4:30 pm CT.

A: You can enter up to 50 unique PICK YOUR PRESENT contest codes per person, per day.

A: Hold on to the PICK YOUR PRESENT contest entry portions of every ticket until March 14, 2025 - the deadline for awarding prizes. You may be asked to provide the ticket portion that corresponds to the entry drawn by WCLC.

A: Yes, you can still enter it as long as the contest code is legible. If the code is damaged or is unreadable, it cannot be entered.

A: Please check your Account history to ensure you haven’t already entered this contest code before. It may also be possible that someone in your household has already entered the code under a different account.

A: Please ensure you are entering a code for this year’s contest. See this year’s list of eligible tickets or the Rules.

Each contest code consists of 11 letters and numbers. Each ticket series starts with its own unique letter followed by 10 letter/numbers comprised of 0-9 and A-F.

If the play area isn’t completely scratched, the letter “B” may appear to be an “8”; an “E” may appear to be an “F”; and an “I” may appear to be a “1” or vice versa. Also keep in mind that the character that appears to be an "O" with a diagonal line through it represents the digit zero. You may also be getting an error message if the ticket being entered is from a previous year’s contest.

A: There is no additional cost to enter the PICK YOUR PRESENT Contest beyond the price of eligible Scratch tickets.

A: Submit your prize entries into the draw or draws you wish to enter. Each entry you submit before January 10, 2025, at 2:30 pm PT, 3:30 pm MT and 4:30 pm CT offers you one chance to win that prize from the total pool of entries. Then, on or about January 17, 2025, draws will be made from all eligible entries received. Draw winners will be contacted shortly thereafter by phone or email and notified that they have won a prize.

A: Yes. However, you are only eligible to win one prize from each draw. If you have been selected to win in a particular Prize Draw, all of your other entries for that specific draw are ineligible to win.

A: Yes, for each prize draw, there will be a cash equivalent offered.

A: The draw will take place on or around January 17, 2025, and will be made from all eligible entries for each Prize Draw. As soon as possible after the draw, WCLC will attempt to notify each winner by telephone and then by email. See Rules for details.
